Auslogics Software Pty Ltd - 11.11MB (Commercial Trial)
Auslogics File Recovery is an effective tool for to ‘undelete’ files that you may have lost by accident or due to to a virus attacking your system.
Auslogics File Recovery is a specialized app that can retrieve your files, which, for all purposes, are considered lost from your computer. The app’s interface is clean and intuitive and can be navigated by anyone. Simply select the target volume (or the Recycle Bin), and the app will search for any files that you need. Key Features include
If you need to search for specific files, you can configure Auslogics File Recovery to filter your searches by means of pictures, music, video, documents, last date of modification, and filename etc. You can also configure the app to perform a deep scan, skip zero-sized files, and skip temporary files and system files as well.
Whilst scanning, you can see a progress bar, along with the a total number of found and processed files. After completion, you can view the name, status, date of modification, size, type and location for every item that it finds.
Overall, Auslogics File Recovery is a reasonable app that can recover almost anything you care to try to find on your PC. The interface is easy to understand and the intuitive layout makes it simple to navigate. The only downside is the amount of system resources it uses up trying to scan for your missing files. That having been said, it does complete scans in a reasonable time frame, but this, obviously depends upon the size of your hard drive and your system specification.
