Screenphoto is a useful little app that runs impercibily from your system tray. It can instantly take a snapshot of your screen when you press the Print Screen key on your keyboard; there is no need to navigate to another area in order to take the image. The main interface is accessible only after you take a screenshot.
With Screenphoto you can take a screenshot of the full desktop, an active window or a user-defined area. The app lets you capture a whole webpage without the need to scroll down and take multiple screenshots of each viewable area.
After you take a screenshot, you can customize it by using various editing tools, such as a Pencil, Marker or a Text Box. You can also save the image to a custom folder. The app does allow you to add a custom watermark to your screenshot, but you cannot alter the position of it and it remains fixed in place.
Key Features include:
Screen photo comes with Windows system integration support. In real terms this means that it adds a small camera icon/button on top of most of your active windows in order to allow you take screenshots. Although this may appear initially to be a good idea, it really isn’t. The button's position is located near to the Minimize button, which can cause some navigation issues.
Overall, Screenphoto is not a bad app, it just has a few creases that are irksome and need ironing out. As far as the image capturing functions go, the app works ok. The editing interface is basic, albeit functional, and the Windows integration works, but it is a bit clumsy.
