Getting started with the app is very easy; simply enter the artist or song title in the search box and you receive the results from the YouTube portal. From here, you have a number of options to choose from; download the video or extract the audio stream. You can also preview the clip from the 'Search' panel in popup window as well. The app lets you play, pause, or stop the current video or audio selection, alter the volume, and switch to a full screen mode as well.

A great feature of YouTube Song Downloader is that it is able to grab multiple items simultaneously, and yet still provides good output results. It doesn’t consume a massive amount of system resources, but that does depends on the computer.
Overall, YouTube Song Downloader is good at what it does. It has some useful tools and a simple, straightforward layout that can be navigated by users of all levels of expertise.
